More Full time Employment in Australia

Australian Labour Force Numbers released this month reveal that Australia's economy is showing strong growth, with full-time employment growing significantly.

According to data from "Australian Labour Force", Australia's unemployment rate was 5.7% for September, 0.3% lower than expected. Also, overall employment has increased by 40,600, and the participation rate is now at 65.2%.

Full time employment has increased by 35,400, with part-time employment increasing by 5,200. These figures are reassuring, as economists were predicting a 10,000 decrease in employment.

The Australian Dollar remains strong against the USD, passing 0.90 and showing no signs of weakening. The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) have increased interest rates by 25 basis points to 3.25% in response to the growing consumer confidence.

These figures indicate that the Australian economy is remaining strong, making Australia a highly desirable option for skilled migrants wanting to live & work overseas.
